Karbonn Titanium Octane Features

Karbonn Titanium Octaneis the scaled down version of the Octane Plus. The device sports a 5-inch 720p display instead of a 1080p panel.
The same MT6592 octa-core processor is powering the smartphone, while the RAM has been trimmed down from 2GB to 1GB.

The 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front facing shooter complete the camera department.
Titanium Octane's connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and HSPA+ (42.2 Mbps down).

Karbbon Titanium Octane Plus Features

TheOctane Pluscomes with a 5-inch Full HD display and is powered by MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor running at 1.7 GHz.
There is 2 GB of RAM to help the device run smoothly and 16 megapixel rear camera along with the 8 megapixel front facing shooter to let you capture high quality images.
Karbonn newest addition comes with 16 GB of onboard memory and supports expansion via the microSD card.
As usual, there is a wide range of connectivity option, but the device lacks 4G LTE connectivity. Just like the Titanium Hexa, the Octane is also powered by the Android 4.4 KitKat. Lastly, the juice for the smartphone is provided by a 2,000mAh battery.

Karbonn has already announced the pricing details for both devices. The Titanium Octane Plus and Octane are priced at INR 17,990 (about $295) and INR 14,490 (about $240) respectively.

HTC ONE (M8) with snapdragon 801 processor Announced

HTC has announced the launch of its latest flagship smartphone, the HTC One (M8).Last year HTC launched it's High end devices HTC ONE and HTC ONE MINI Now HTC launched it's new phone HTC One M8. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and comes with a dual rear camera setup, in line with the rumoured specifications.


The design and the rest of the specifications of the HTC One (M8) have probably been the tech world's worst-kept secret and will not come as a surprise to anyone that's been tracking this story.

HTC One (M8) comes with a 5-inch full-HD display and will be available in 16GB and 32GB storage options, with support for expandable storage via microSD cards of up to 128GB capacity.

The HTC One (M8) comes with a body that's '90 percent metal' and exudes the same premium feel as its predecessor. Thephone comes with 2GB of RAM.


The highlight of the HTC One (M8) is the dual camera setup that puts a 4-UltraPixel camera alongside a depth sensing camera that lets you do cool things like refocussing images after they've been clicked and other stuff.
A 5-megapixel front camera is included as well.HTC One (M8) comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat along with a brand new Sense 6 UI on top, which HTC is calling the biggest upgrade since Sense debuted. The phonecomes with a 2800mAh battery.

Moto X Now Available on Flipkart for 23,999/-

Another Smart Phone from Motorola is rolling the Indian Market, It's Name is Moto X.
Previously it's launched A New Device Called Moto G and it's comes with dual sim. Now The Motorola’s Moto X is now availablein India on Flipkart for Rs. 23,999.


As per the listings on Flipkart, only the Moto X variants in white and black colours are available for purchase at present. The other versions can only be pre-ordered at present and will be delivered to buyers in the second week of April.

Flipkart is providing launch-day offers for Moto X, such as cashback of Rs1,000 for those who buy the device on EMIs, 70%25 off on body cases and 100%25 cashback to select buyers.

The Moto X is runs on Android 4.4 with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.There is 10MP camera on the rear and 2MP on the front. The 16GB version is currently available on Flipkart in White and Black color options only (for now).

Moto X is among the few smartphones in the country that run on Android 4.4 operating system and has a water-resistant coating. Buyers get free 50GB of Google Drive storage with Moto X.

Nokia X launched in India for Rs. 8599

Finally Nokia with Android is here, the Nokia X has been launched and will soon be available for a price tag of Rs. 8,599. The Nokia X apparently becomes the first Nokia handset launched in India that runs on the Android platform Along with Nokia X, the X+ and the XL were also announced and will be available within few months.

Though the handset runs on the Android OS it is powered by Nokia / Microsoft services i.e. users will not get access to the Google play store but they will be able to install apps via Nokia app store.

However users will be able to install 3rd party app (using the unknown sources option) just like on other android powered handsets.

The Nokia X is a dual SIM handset powered by Snapdragon S4 (dual core) processor running Android 4.1 (Nokia X platform 1.0) with 512MB RAM and 4GB storage
There is a 3MP rear camera and battery is 1500 mAh capacity. 3G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth come built in.

The X will be available in 6 different color options. 3GB ONE Drive cloud space is also included free of cost. And instead of the Google Maps you will find the Nokia Here Maps that will work with the built in GPS. It is rather disappointing that X users will not be able to use the Google play store, however Nokia store might get most of the stuffs included they call it the same code base. New user base (most of the apps will work and all that the developers need to do is get it listed [after a compatibility test] on the Nokia store), moreover there is already a lot of 3rd party development happening to root the Nokia X and gain access to the play store. Micromax Canvas Knight A350 Smartphone with Octa Cores Pricessor Is Released For 19,990/-

In the past two months there was quite a bit buzz around the Canvas Knight , which reports claimed was Micromax’s first octa-core smartphone.

Today, the Indian smartphone vendor has made things official by launching the octa-core device in India for Rs 19,999.

The Canvas Knight A350 will be exclusively available on the Micromax website.

Speaking of specifications, the Canvas Knight A350 5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 443ppi and is powered by MediaTek MT6592T true octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz and paired with Mali450 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

On the photography front, it features a 16-megapixel rear camera with Omni Vision Camera Chip sensor and an 8-megapixel camera at the front. These cameras also support voice commands, so when you say “Cheese” or “Capture”, the camera will click a picture.

Other features include 32GB of internal storage, 2,350mAh battery and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

The device comes preloaded with apps like BBM, Hike, Spuul, Kingsoft Office Suite, M!Security, M!Live, Opera Mini browser and games like Where’s My Perry and Where’s My Water among others. As far as the competition is concerned, the Canvas Knight A350 will be up against the likes of Intex Aqua Octa and WickedLeak Wammy Passion X.

The former is priced the same as Micromax’s smartphone and is also powered by MediaTek’s octa-core Processor and 2GB of RAM.

The Aqua Octa though flaunts a 6-inch display, albeit with a resolution of 720p and also lags behind the Canvas Knight in terms of storage (16GB) and camera resolution (13-megapixel/5-megapixel).

The Wammy Passion X,launched a couple of days back, too is powered by a MediaTek octa-core processor, but is slightly heavier on the pocket witha price tag of Rs 22,500.

At this price you get the same display, same power, and a bigger battery (2,500mAh), but lags behind in terms of storage (16GB) and camera resolution (13-megapixel/5-megapixel). One big advantage of the Wammy Passion X is that it is waterresistant, which none of the other two devices have.

Saholic website has listed the Galaxy S5 for a price tag of Rs. 45,500 with expected delivery by 8thMarch 2014, however when you click the buy now button it says item isout of stock.

Micromax Canvas Blaze HD EG116 With Snapdragon With Quadcore Processor Launched In India

Micromax has silently launched the Canvas Blaze HD also called the Micromax EG116.

This smartphone comes powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor (Snapdragon S4) and supports dual SIM (CDMA + GSM) networks.

The Micromax Canvas Blaze HD EG116 is a different from the Micromax Canvas Blaze MT500 and Micromax Canvas Duet II EG111 that also supports the CDMA + GSM networks.

The EG116 is powered by MSM8625Q qualcomm snapdragon quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It runs on Android 4.1 with 1GB RAM and 4GB storage. Of the 4GB Storage, 1.3GB is available as internal storage and 1.17 as storage for apps. There is external card support for up to 32GB.
