Motorola Moto G have Just Received Android 4.4.4 Update

Moto G owners got the Android 4.4.4 update almost a month ago, and the update is still trickling out for US carrier-branded devices, but the update has now reached to Spain.

Considering the speed with which Motorola has dropped the update for the Moto X, Moto G and Moto E globally, it's a little odd that carriers are slowing things down so much when others aren't, but that's carriers for you.

Motorola's update page they list the changelog for the update: Android 4.4.4 KitKat with power profile improvements, improved stability and the usual security fixes including to the OpenSSLbug.

There's also now the ability to pause video whilst recording with a new pause button in the camera interface.  The new dialer also makes an appearance, as does a new Motorola Alert app in case you find yourself in a spot of bother and require some assistance.

We'll update this article as more Moto G Android updates are announced around the globe, so stay updated on Facebook and Twitter for more details and arrival dates as they appear.

As always, if you don't already have the OTA notification waiting for you, you can check for the update manually by going to Settings> About Phone > System Updates.

Do you have the Android 4.4.4 update yet? How is your carrier's response to update releases?
