Apple has launched the iPad Air 2, and they have not confirmed the availability dates in India, the prices however have been revealed. the price of Apple iPad Air 2 starts from Rs. 35,900.
The Air 2 is just 6.1 mm thick (its 18% thinner) and weigh is 437 grams. This tablet with an aluminum body sports a 9.7 inch LED screen with IPS technology with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution. The screen comes with oleophobic coating that will minimize fingerprint impressions.

The display is fully laminated with anti reflective coating. Air 2 is powered by 64 bit A8X chipset coupled with M8 Motion coprocessor. The home button doubles up as a finger print scanner. This tab sails on iOS 8 with optional 16GB, 64GB and 128GB storage.
Key features are 4G/3G (optional), Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.0, compass, iBeacon / GPS with GLONASS, built in Siri and a good list of sensors including accelerometer, barometer, accelerator and ambient light sensor.
There is an 8MP iSight camera on the rear and a 1.2MP face time HD camera on the front. The built in battery as per the company will give up to 10 hours of continuous surfing time on Wi-Fi.
Apple iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi version is priced at Rs. 35,900 (16GB), Rs. 42,900 (64GB) and Rs. 49,900 (128GB). The Wi-Fi + Cellular version is priced at Rs. 45,900 (16GB), Rs. 52,900 (64GB) and Rs. 59,900 (128GB).
